In
Loving Memory of Glenn Steckling
It is with immense sadness that we share the passing of Captain Glenn
Steckling on January 2, 2026.
Glenn shared with his father and mother a deep passion for astrobiology and space exploration. Together, they spent time researching and
discussing these topics — a pursuit Glenn continued with enthusiasm and
knowledge long after his parents' passing.
He cherished the friendships that he made during his research and
speaking engagements and loved to share his experiences and knowledge with
anyone interested.
Glenn’s passing leaves a profound void in the lives of all who knew him.
His warmth, intellect, humor, and kindness will be remembered and treasured
always.
A Tribute to Glenn S. Steckling
By Michel
Zirger
Glenn
Steckling served as President of the George Adamski Foundation with dedication,
seriousness, and a deep respect for history. In a field often subject to
misunderstanding and distortion, he stood for careful preservation,
responsibility, and continuity.
His work was not motivated by personal
recognition, but by a sincere desire to honor George Adamski’s legacy and
ensure that the historical record would remain accessible and respected for
future generations. Glenn understood that safeguarding such a legacy requires
patience, humility, and integrity.
Those who worked with him recognized his
calm strength, his reliability, and his unwavering commitment. He was also a
remarkable speaker, highly articulate, able to express complex ideas with
clarity, precision, and quiet authority. He approached the Adamski material not
as a believer seeking validation, nor as a skeptic seeking dismissal, but as a
custodian seeking truth, balance, and historical fairness.
Through his leadership, the George Adamski
Foundation remained a stable and respectful reference point in a domain that
can easily become fragmented. His contribution will remain part of the
Foundation’s identity and its long-term mission.
Glenn will be remembered not only for what
he did, but for how he did it: with quiet dedication, respect for truth and
integrity, and a sincere devotion to preserving an important chapter of
contactee history.
He leaves behind a legacy of stewardship,
responsibility, and dignity that will continue to guide the Foundation in the
years to come.
My relationship with Glenn—and earlier,
with his mother Ingrid—began in the 1990s. From the very beginning, they placed
great trust in me and generously shared invaluable archival material, which I
later used in my books with Glenn’s full and explicit authorization.
What impressed me most over the years was
Glenn’s unwavering loyalty to the true spirit of George Adamski’s legacy. In a
field where speculation, distortion, and fantasy too often replace historical
rigor, Glenn stood firmly for clarity and authenticity. He worked tirelessly to
preserve the original essence of Adamski’s message: that humanity is visited by
extraterrestrial beings who are human in appearance. Not monsters, not
abstractions, but beings remarkably close to us.
Yes, they may sometimes appear more
harmonious or even more beautiful than we are, but they remain fundamentally
human in nature. This is something I can affirm with complete certainty through
my own direct experiences.
I am also deeply proud to have helped
Glenn find a publisher in France who had the courage and integrity to release a
French edition of his major work, The U.F.O. Reality – Can Truth Prevail?
This book stands as a unique and essential reference. Glenn was profoundly
proud of it, and justly so. It does not merely restore the legacy of Adamski;
it also preserves, and honors, the legacy of his parents, Fred and Ingrid
Steckling, whom he loved deeply and whose work he carried forward with devotion
and respect.
As an author, I can only express my
profound gratitude to you, Glenn. You were fully aware that your health—your
heart—was fragile, and yet you continued to work for George Adamski’s legacy
until your very last days, moving from one interview to another with remarkable
courage and determination. That level of commitment commands the deepest
respect.
All the interviews and videos you gave
will remain as an enduring testimony to your dedication. They form a precious
archive that will guide and inspire future generations, preserving not only
knowledge, but also the spirit of integrity and responsibility with which you
carried this legacy forward.
